Despite the best efforts of Raven Software and Infinity Ward to improve Warzone 2, the current state of the battle royale is leaving the community concerned for its future. The Season Two update included plenty of changes but a lack of balance and various bugs continue to ruin Al Mazrah and Ashika Island.
As attention turns towards Season Two Reloaded, several high-profile content creators are growing tired of Warzone 2. Some even claim the first iteration is a much smoother experience for players.
One streamer even states that Warzone 2 is the laughing stock of the battle royale genre.
IceManIsaac lists why Warzone 2 sucks
The statement comes from popular Warzone 2 streamer IceManIsaac, who cites numerous reasons why the game isn’t living up to the high bar set by its predecessor.
Ranging from numerous dev errors to a stale meta, there are several reasons why the streamer believes Warzone 2 isn’t where it should be. “Many of these could be fixed overnight, but they won’t,” says Isaac.
There are plenty of other content creators and fans that agree with Isaac. One fan suggests a simple solution leading to Raven Software and Infinity Ward making changes the game desperately needs. “We just need to stop playing the game, it’s simple. Otherwise, nothing will change.” If the player count drops, perhaps changes will start arriving.

Another factor that could save Warzone 2 is the arrival of a ranked playlist. Season Two saw Modern Warfare 2’s competitive offering make its debut, resulting in a huge viewership spike as creators and professional players keep working towards the top 250 on the leaderboard. Rumours suggest Warzone 2 ranked play arrives at some point in Season Three, but is that too little, too late
