Warzone 2 classic CoD map locations
Highrise
The first, and arguably the most popular map to feature on Al Mazrah is Highrise from 2009's Modern Warfare 2. The iconic layout without the crane is in between two skyscrapers in Al Mazrah City.
If you want to land here, be prepared for a fight as players attempt to escape with the huge heavy chopper on the helipad.
Terminal
Players can visit Terminal at the Al Malik Airport POI located on the south coast of Al Mazrah. The layout remains unchanged from the original Modern Warfare 2 and there's plenty of loot to obtain.
Dome
Dome from Modern Warfare 3 makes an appearance at the Zaya Observatory located in the centre of the Warzone 2 map.
Surrounding the compact map is plenty more buildings containing Supply Boxes and duffel bags full of loot so make sure to explore further afield for the chances to earn some strong loot.
Quarry
Another fan-favourite map from 2009's Modern Warfare 2 appears in Al Mazrah. Located at the Al Safwa Quarry POI, there's a full reconstruction of the Quarry multiplayer map.
The lower areas of the map are filled with water so you'll need to swim through the water to access them. You might get lucky like Ninja, who found an underwater loot cache containing game-changing items in a recent match.
Neuville
A full-blown remake of Neuville from the very first Call of Duty game is at the Taraq Village POI. The ruins make for excellent cover as you attempt to navigate your way around the area.
While there aren't many buildings standing, there's still plenty of loot kicking around.
Showdown
Showdown from Call of Duty 4 is one of two maps from the first Modern Warfare release to feature in Warzone 2. You can explore the map by visiting the Ahkdar Village POI located southeast of the Zaya Observatory.
Shipment
The second map from CoD4 to feature in Warzone 2 is the legendary Shipment. Found east of Havid Port, the shipping containers are actually on a ship.
Expect plenty of close-range engagements as players duck and dive in and out of the containers and the rest of the boat.
Afghan
Although the crashed plane is missing, the entirety of Afghan is located at the Sattiq Cave Complex on the western side of Al Mazrah. You may need some luck with the flight path in order to drop there easily but if not, a wide range of Warzone 2 vehicles will help you get there as fast as possible.
Storm
The ninth and final classic map that appears on Al Mazrah is Storm, a DLC battleground from 2009's Modern Warfare 2. To explore this area, head to the Al Bagra Fortress POI and look for the giant warehouse.
