There are plenty of Warzone 2 Operators to choose from before dropping into Al Mazrah and Ashika Island. Although they don’t provide any performance advantage, they add plenty of flair to Call of Duty’s battle royale.

The Season Two patch notes introduce a wide range of bug fixes to improve various elements of the game. Despite the best efforts of Infinity Ward and Raven Software, new bugs and glitches continue to appear.

This particular issue involves a graphical glitch impacting all Operators and causes their faces to disappear.

The disappearance of Warzone 2 Operator faces

Uncovered by Reddit user 604WeekendWarrior, the bug causes most of an Operator’s face to vanish, leaving their eyes and teeth on show. It’s safe to say it’s a terrifying sight.

Although the disturbing sight looks frightening it’s only a visual bug, meaning players can continue dropping into the action as normal. Several members of the community are seeing the funny side. “The new skin is no skin,” jokes one fan.

Other players believe the problem extends even further from the Operator’s face. “I was just a floating head and gun,” reveals one user that believes the problem is more widespread. Unfortunately, invisible players aren’t a new occurrence in Warzone. During the Pacific era, a bug resulted in numerous players being unable to see their opposition making it impossible to score the elimination.

With several fans reporting the issue, there’s a very high chance the developers are aware of it and are hard at work with a potential fix in order to restore the faces to the Operator roster. For now, the ghoulish faces are here to stay for a little while longer.
