Warzone's ranked mode remains one of the most popular playlists in Call of Duty's battle royale thanks to the high-stakes competition it provides. In Season 6, players continue to climb the ladders in a bid to play against the best in the world and for a chance to earn some exclusive seasonal rewards.
Ahead of Season 6 Reloaded, Raven Software continues to fine-tune various aspects of the game to ensure ranked remains a competitive experience for those dropping into the action.
Following the arrival of a small update on October 4, 2023, Warzone ranked has disappeared, much to the annoyance of those looking to become the last player standing on Al Mazrah.
Where is Warzone ranked?
The exact reasoning behind the sudden disappearance of Warzone ranked remains a mystery. User D3LTTA took to Reddit to share their frustrations.
Some fans believe the Call of Duty Next event may have something to do with the downtime. One player says: "Suspicious lack of estimate for it returning. Also a suspicious proximity to CoD Next." Another adds: "I thought I was actually tweaking out. Uninstalled and reinstalled the game."
Shortly after players were left unable to drop into some competitive Warzone, developer Treyarch shed more light on the issue.
When is Warzone ranked returning?
Despite Treyarch revealing Warzone ranked will be "temporarily offline," there are still no signs of the mode returning anytime soon. The developer says the mode has disappeared due to maintenance but the lack of a return date has left many frustrated.
