With many long-term lovers of The Witcher 3 deciding to return to the game in order to check out December’s next-gen update, the streets of The Continent have been bustling with more life than they’ve seen in a good while for the past couple of months.

Those jumping back into the body of the white wolf on PC might have noticed that a lot of uber-popular mods that’ve been out for a little while are starting to receive fresh updates.

In addition, a lot of fresh works based around the content added by the update, such as its ray-traced environments, medallions, and armours have been popping up recently. If you don’t feel like any of those recently released gear sets fit your preferences, a new mod might be worth adding to your load order.

Feel like monster hunting requires a bit more stealth than your standard Wolven gear can muster?

The mod in question is called ‘Defiant Inquisitor Armor Set’ and is the work of modder Skydoespoint, whose previous work has added a bunch of interesting equipment to Geralt’s armoury, including a cat he can wear as a hat.

This time, they’ve decided to provide the white wolf with some pretty snazzy Assassin’s Creed-style armour, which you can check out in the video below, to wear as he sneaks and slices his way across The Continent.

Named the ‘Defiant Inquisitor Set’, the armour boasts a sleek appearance and hood that wouldn’t look out of place on Ezio or Edward Kenway. It's upgradeable and comes in six separate pieces that can also be teamed with other gear.

In order to acquire these items, you’ll need to visit either Yoana at Crow’s Perch or the Quartermaster at Vernon Roche’s Temerian camp, both of whom sell the whole set and some documents called ‘Rebirth Inscriptions’, which are the crafting diagrams for it.

The mod also contains two swords designed to go with the set, which Skydoespoint couldn’t quite get to work how they intended, but has still made available via the use of console commands.
