With many long-term lovers of The Witcher 3 deciding to return to the game in order to check out its freshly released and free next-gen update, the streets of The Continent are bustling with more life than they’ve seen in a good while.

Those jumping back into the body of the white wolf on PC might have noticed that a lot of uber-popular mods are starting to receive the necessary updates to work with the newest version of the game.

In addition to updating these must-have mods, modders have also been hard at work altering and adjusting some of the fresh content added by the update to suit their own liking, with one having decided to cater to those who can’t get enough of Netflix’s wolf school amulet.

Which wolf school medallion design do you prefer?

The mod that does so is called ‘Netflix Medallion for Armors (Next Gen)’ and is the work of modder Joell560, whose previous work has given all of The Continent’s various witcher weaponry Netflix-style scabbards and made Skyrim’s explosions a bit less forceful.

This time, they’ve decided to switch out the default wolf school medallion that comes with all armour sets with the custom version that adorns Geralt’s chest if you decide to dress him in full Henry Cavill (or Liam Hemsworth) cosplay.

As a result, the decision to stick with your tried and tested armour from playthroughs prior to the next-gen update, no matter whether this is a set of grandmaster ursine gear, an ornate Ofieri tunic or a simple early-game outfit you’ve cobbled together, won’t mean you miss out on donning the wolf medallion seen in Netflix’s Witcher show.

The mod also ensures that those who prefer the simple, circular design won’t look out of place when they return Kaer Morhen for the winter, by giving Vesemir, Eskel and Lambert their own Netflix medallions too.

On the other hand, if you’re one of those players that likes the dark aesthetic of the Netflix-inspired armour, but prefers the game’s traditional wolf medallion, another of Joell560’s recent mods might be worth a look.

Called ‘Original Wolf Medallion for Netflix Armors (Next Gen)’, this mod instead allows you to pair the Netflix armour with the more dramatic snarling wolf usually worn by in-game Geralt.
