Wuthering Waves 1.1 Banners

Like most other gacha games, Wuthering Waves 1.1 will be split into two phases with each phase having separate banners. The Wuthering Waves 1.1 banners are Thawborn Renewal and Stellar Plumage, featuring the following characters:

Thawborn Renewal (Phase 1)

  • Jinhsi – phase one (5-star, Spectro, Broadblade)
  • Danjin – phase one (4-star, Havoc, Sword)
  • Yangyang – phase one (4-star, Aero, Sword)
  • Sanhua – phase one (4-star, Glacio, Sword)

Stellar Plumage (Phase 2)

  • Changli – phase two (5-star, Fusion, Sword)
  • Mortefi – phase two (4-star, Fusion, Pistols)
  • Taoqi – phase two (4-star, Havoc, Broadblade)
  • Baizhi – phase two (4-star, Glacio, Rectifier)

Jinhsi and Changli are sure to get banners for their signature weapons as well, but the details on those have yet to be revealed by Kuro Games.

Wuthering Waves 1.1 Thawborn Renewal (Phase One Banner)

For the first half of Wuthering Waves 1.1, the limited 5-star banner will feature none other than Jinhsi. Jinhsi played a major role in the story during 1.0, so players should already be quite familiar with the Magistrate of Jinzhou.

Accompanying Jinhsi for phase one of Wuthering Waves 1.1 will be Danjin, Yangyang, and Sanhua, so expect to get multiple copies of these 4-star characters if you plan on going all out for Jinzhou’s leader. Though these characters are all sword DPS or sub-DPS characters, they cover different elements and offer distinct playstyles. As such, the best Wuthering Waves teams are sure to see a shake-up.

Wuthering Waves 1.1 Stellar Plumage (Phase Two Banner)

During the second phase of Wuthering Waves 1.1, players will get a chance to add Changli to their roster. Changli isn’t seen much during the events of 1.0 but we do know that she is Jinhsi’s mentor. There’s a good chance that Changli will get a companion mission during the second half of Wuthering Waves 1.1 to get better acquainted with the Resonator.

The 4-star characters Mortefi, Taoqi, and Baizhi are expected to be featured on Changli’s banner. These Resonators would be great additions to any lineup as they offer great support and utility.

Should You Pick Jinhsi or Changli in Wuthering Waves 1.1?

While details regarding the skillsets of both characters have not been revealed, both Jinhsi and Changli have the potential to boost any Wuthering Waves account. But if you had to choose to go for only one Resonator between them, it would depend on what your roster currently looks like.

Jinhsi is expected to fill the role of main DPS on a team, so her kit could focus purely on maximizing her damage output. So, you might want to spend your Astrites on her banner if you feel like your current lineup lacks firepower.

Meanwhile, Changli may be more of a sub-DPS support character. She’ll be capable of producing decent numbers on offence but her main purpose on the team is to provide buffs and amplify the damage of your main DPS. If you think Changli would synergize well with your current lineup, consider pulling for her instead of Jinhsi.
