The Midnight Coup has some interesting perk combinations

Just like our Mountaintop God Roll guide, we'll give you two God Rolls to chase. One for PvP activities and one focused on PvE.

PvE God Roll

  • Barrel: Hammer-Forged Rifling, Smallbore
  • Magazine: Accurized Rounds, Tactical Mag
  • Perk 1: Firefly, Explosive Payload, Outlaw
  • Perk 2: Kinetic Tremors, Rampage, Desperate Measures

Midnight Coup excels in PvE with a wide variety of perk combos you can choose from. The extra range from either Hammer or Smallbore is welcomed and pairing Firefly or Explosive Payload and Kinetic Tremors can turn this hand cannon into a crowd control machine.

The tried and trusted combo of Outlaw and Rampage is still available, but why play it safe when there are plenty of fun perks to choose from? Still, the option's there if you want a reliable hand cannon.

PvP God Roll

  • Barrel: Hammer-Forged Rifling, Smallbore
  • Magazine: Accurized Rounds, Tactical Mag
  • Perk 1: Moving Target, Enlightened Action
  • Perk 2: Zen Moment, Opening Shot

The perk combos available for PvP are rather lacklustre considering how fun some of the PvE-focused ones are. Your barrel and magazine will still need to compensate for the low base range, and in your perk columns, you can go for things like Moving Target to make the Midnight Coup more precise while walking around.

Zen Moment is good in long firefights as long as you're hitting your shots, similarly, Opening Shot will grant you a big boost to range and accuracy before you start a fight, setting you up for success.
