PC and PlayStation players have already experienced what Black Myth: Wukong offers.
From intense boss fights to an interesting take on the Journey To The West story, Black Myth: Wukong has garnered such popularity that it has broken Steam records.
However, Xbox players have yet to play the game, as Microsoft confirms that the indefinite delay on the Xbox Series consoles is not due to “platform limitations.”
According to a statement made by a Microsoft representative to Forbes, Black Myth: Wukong will eventually launch on Xbox Series X|S, and they are working with Game Science to bring the game to these consoles. Additionally, they mentioned that Microsoft would rather not comment on deals made by their partners with other platform holders, referring to an agreement possibly made by Sony and Game Science.

Recently, Microsoft has been experiencing several delays for multiple titles, such as Dune: Awakening and the Italian Souls-like Enotria: The Last Song. While the delay for Xbox Series S regarding Dune: Awakening is technical, Enotria: The Last Song is not coming to Xbox consoles for a different reason.
Jyamma Games, the developer of Enotria, stated in a recent X post that communicating with Xbox is difficult. As a result, Xbox users who are fans of the game will have to skip Enotria, as it won’t come to Xbox consoles.
The same goes for fans of Wukong who play on Microsoft’s consoles. The massive action-roleplaying game defied all odds, boosting Steam’s concurrent player count to 37 million. It continues to be popular compared to Concord, which was announced to be removed from PC and PlayStation storefronts just two weeks after its release.
With another player surge from Xbox users, Black Myth: Wukong may continue to break records once it is released for Xbox consoles. Until then, Xbox players will have to wait or purchase and play the game on a different platform.
