While a lot of Cyberpunk 2077 players are already imagining how sweet life will be when the Phantom Liberty Expansion arrives and they can ditch their old flame, Keanu Reeves, for a fresh celebrity companion in Idris Elba, some are still hanging out in Night City while they wait.

When they’re not busy shooting or quickhacking their way through dangerous foes to complete a gig or visiting a ripperdoc to upgrade their cyberware, many of these chooms can be found searching for somewhere in the metropolis to sit down and relax at the end of a long day.

But if you’re the kind of person who prefers to head over to a friend’s apartment to chill out with a drink, rather than staring at your own crib’s four walls, a new mod might be worth adding to your load order.

Feel like your favourite Mox’s digs need some sprucing up?

The mod in question is called ‘Judy's Apartment (Neokitsch)’ and is the work of modder rexxgta, whose previous projects have revamped V’s default apartment and provided Night City’s top mercenary with a second home in the form of a luxury suite in Japantown.

But this time, they’ve taken the cosy Watson condo of Judy Alvarez and decided to unleash their interior design skills to help make it look a bit more upmarket.

So their additions, which range from subdued back furniture to interesting wall art and some tactfully placed neon lighting are all designed to match the neokitsch fashion rocked by Night City’s richest denizens. This look is based on brightly coloured and expensive goods that break away from the muted tones preferred in corporate circles.

While it reworks every corner of the apartment, from the entrance hall to Judy's tech room, one area that definitely looks to fit rexxgta’s mission statement is the bathroom. With this mod, the bathroom now boasts a lavish enclosed shower flanked by little bonsai trees.

There’s also a working vending machine in the kitchen, which might be what pushes you over the edge when it comes to asking Judy if you can move in permanently and live on her sofa.

How to install the mod

If you’ve already started to pack your gear in preparation, you’ll momentarily need to pause to grab MaximiliumM and CtrlAltDaz’s ‘Appearance Menu Mod’, awpsoleet’s ‘Cyber Engine Tweaks’ and NexusGuy999’s ‘Object Spawner’ before you leave.
