Time to learn how to change class in Diablo 4. Diablo 4 is out now, and many are excited to try out all of the content in the game. You're offered several classes to explore the game with, and it would be nice to swap them out to try different ways to play.

Blizzard has experimented with the class change feature in Diablo Immortal, but how does it work in the newest addition to the series? Here you will find out everything you need to know about how classes work in Diablo 4.

Can you change class in Diablo 4?

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to change class in Diablo 4. Once you choose a class for your character, it is permanent and cannot be changed. This may be very disappointing to fans of Diablo Immortal, where you could change the class.

As in most previous games of the series, the only way to play as a different class will be to create a new character. Fortunately, levelling up should not pose as big of a problem as in the previous Diablo games.

There are new mechanics introduced to the game that allow you to gain bonuses shared amongst all the characters on your account. Those are the bonus stats that you get from Altars of Lilith and Renown rewards, including XP.
