Since they finally received the massive DLC announcement they’d all been craving, Elden Ring players have all been basking in the warm glow of knowing that work on the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion is definitely underway.
In addition to doing some detective work to try and unearth clues as to what the DLC might involve and having a go at recently released soulslike Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, many of these hardcore tarnished have already started diving into the intense training regimen they’ll need to complete in order to refresh and hone their skills in time for its arrival.
If you’re in need of a way to spice up your own boss battle prep sessions without rebinding your keys to a musical instrument, a new mod might be worth adding to your load order.
Want to make sure you can carve through Elden Ring’s array of bosses in style?
The mod in question is called ‘Gamma's Unbound Weapons’ and is the work of modder GAMMANguyener.
They’ve decided to take some of their existing weapon overhaul mods, which have proven massively popular, and combine them into a single modpack that currently brings you three different flavours of flashy destruction.
As you can see in the clip above, the impressive attacks offered by the combined contents of ‘Dragon Greatclaw - Unbound’, ‘Sword of Night and Flame - Unbound’ and ‘Ruins Greatsword - Unbound’ give you plenty of new and slightly overpowered moves to play with when assaulting demigods, in addition to some freshly tweaked ashes of war.
Plus, you can seemingly look forward to receiving more re-worked weapons from GAMMANguyener’s ‘unbound’ series via future updates, ensuring that you don’t have to regularly scour the Nexus in order to receive their next standalone work as soon as it goes live.
If you’re already limbering up to try out some of these gaudily animated blades, you’ll first need to grab Elden Ring’s ‘Mod Engine 2’ in order to get things working as they should.
Regardless of whether your Tarnished is now slicing away at Malenia with a barrage of colourful strikes, make sure to follow us for coverage of some interesting streamers and guides to Shadow of the Erdtree as soon as it arrives.
