With Fontaine finally out as Genshin Impact’s fifth major region, fans are excited to see what new characters Hoyoverse has in store for us. Leaks for the Genshin Impact 4.1 banners reveal that we will be getting two new 5-star characters next patch, as well as two archons.
Wriothesley and Neuvilletee are the two new characters we can expect next patch, and Hoyoverse has already teased them officially. Leaks suggest that Raiden Shogun and Venti will be the two rerun characters who will appear next patch, so you might want to start saving your Primogems.

What are the Genshin Impact 4.1 banners?
There will be two reruns and two new 5-star characters that make it to the Genshin Impact 4.1 banners next month.
Phase 1
Wriothesley
Wriothesley’s animations make him feel like a melee character, but he is actually an Ice unit. He can boost his attacks by sacrificing his own HP, a mechanic that was previously seen in Hu Tao’s kit back in 2021. He is the fourth 5-star Cryo DPS unit after Ganyu, Eula, and Ayaka so expectations will be very high. We recommend saving your Primogems and waiting for reviews of his kit after he is out before splurging on the banner.
Venti
Venti is one of the best crowd-control units in the game and he can also take advantage of the Viridescent Venerer set to boost your team’s damage. He is often compared to Kazuha, and while both the 5-star Anemo boys have solid crowd-control capabilities, their kits have significant differences.
- Freebie alert: Genshin Impact codes
Kazuha is focused on boosting your team’s damage but Venti gives you a plat amount of Energy back which can make your team rotations a lot smoother. Even if you have Kazuha, Venti is an excellent pickup provided you have the Primogems to get him.
Phase 2
Neuvillette
One of the biggest problems with Catalyst users in Genshin Impact is stamina management. Neuvillete seeks to solve that problem by offering a charged attack play style without consuming previous stamina that you can use for dodging and sprinting. He can deal massive AoE damage by powering up his charged attacks. His skill and ultimate are also designed to do massive AoE damage which can be great for Taser, Bloom, and Electrocharged teams.
Raiden Shogun
Raiden Shogun’s appearance on the banner is unconfirmed as there are conflicting leaks. Some suggest that Tighnari may be appearing, which isn’t plausible as he is a Standard character and it would be the first time that a Standard character gets a rerun. If Raiden Shogun is getting a rerun and you do not have her, she is a must-have unit who can offer massive amounts of Energy for your team. Her damage output is also great and you can build her for hypercarry teams.
