While some GTA players are still trying to enjoy everything that Los Santos has to offer by getting up to wacky hijinks and spending all of their hard-earned cash, others are already looking forward to GTA 6.

For some, this has involved trying to predict what the next game’s map will look like, arguing that it shouldn’t come with a new version of GTA Online or intensely debating whether the game’s first trailer will be released this month.

However, it seems as though all some people are interested in is which songs they’ll be able to blast once GTA 6 finally arrives, with one player on Reddit having sparked some discussion with their ideal radio track list ideas.

Would you like to see some classic tracks return in GTA 6?

This is the subject of a couple of recent threads on the GTA 6 subreddit, the first of which began with a post from user DAYGODOWNJR, who posted the list of 80s hits they’d like to see featured on a revised version of GTA Vice City’s pop station, Flash FM, and asked for feedback on it.

Many of their fellow players were pretty impressed with the list, though some thought it could be improved by a couple of extra additions, with user kembowhite saying: “I feel it needs more forgotten 80s deep cuts.” and LostAbruptly demanding that Daryl Hall & John Oates’ ‘Out of Touch’ make a return.

On the other hand, user DyceCubes suggested: “I think Flash FM would be playing current pop hits, seeing as that’s what it was doing in the 80s. And there’ll probably be a different station for the 80s throwbacks…”

Despite this minor criticism, DAYGODOWNJR seemingly thought their proposal had gone down well enough to have a go at nicking up a track list for another classic station, V-Rock, in another thread.

However, this time their picks were deemed to be a little too tame for many of the GTA fan base’s most ardent head bangers and air guitar aficionados, with user mlholladay96 musing: “I would throw in some Def Leppard, Motley Crue and more similar bands to really emphasise the station's head-banging hair metal roots.” and the appropriately named RockNDrums adding: “Don't forget Ozzy (Osbourne), Judas Priest and Iron Maiden.”

The latter user also suggested that it would be nice to see fictional GTA band Love Fist on the list, leading DAYGODOWNJR to admit they’d like to see the ageing rockers release “a new track for the game.”
