While some GTA players are already looking forward to GTA 6, others are still trying to make the most of their remaining time in Los Santos.

After all, if you don’t enjoy trying to predict the next game’s release date, lack any hot takes regarding what it should include, and have given up on planning out your first playthrough, why not just try to appreciate the final stretch of GTA Online?

Some players have recently been doing so by replaying The Contract update's missions in order to earn the cash required to buy a 50-car garage and fill it up with interesting automobiles. However, it seems the game’s latest new car has sparked a rather illuminating debate.

Are you planning on investing in the Hotring Everon next time you log into GTA Online?

This glowing groupthink forms the subject of a recent thread on the GTA Online subreddit, which began with a post from, user Particular-Match3487, who shared an image of their freshly bought Everon and asked: “I'm not American so have no clue, but is it normal to put stickers where functioning lights would be?”

An array of fellow criminals quickly invoked the automotive wisdom of Cars protagonist Lightning McQueen in order to explain this interesting quirk, with user RealGingercat227 quoting the infamous line: “Race cars don’t need headlights because the track is always lit.”

Meanwhile, user Loves_tacos pointed out that the lack of headlights on oval racers is also designed to make constantly running incredibly fast safer, pointing out: “It's not that they don't need headlights, they cannot have headlights. At the speeds they are going, the smallest pebble would shatter the lights and create a hazard on the track.”

This NASCAR-related debate isn’t the only one that the Everon’s release has triggered, with a number of users in another thread reacting to the vehicle’s arrival by lamenting the fact that it’s only available through March 15.

“What's up with all these limited (time) release vehicles. Are they going to eventually be brought back?” asked user mulletmuffinman, while VinitheTrash bemoaned: “I want this car, but I'm (away from) home visiting family until March 20…”

If you want to acquire your own Hotring Everon and use it to compete in an array of freshly released Hotring Circuit 2023 races, you’ll have to head to the Southern San Andreas Super Autos prior to the aforementioned date, with achieving 20 top three finishes in San Andreas Super Sport Series races earning you a discount on the truck.

Regardless of whether you’re now leading a pack of V8-engined monsters through a banked turn, make sure to follow us for more GTA 6 and GTA Online updates as new vehicles and more arrive.
