While some GTA players are already looking forward to GTA 6, others are still trying to make the most of their remaining time in Los Santos.

After all, if you don’t enjoy trying to predict what the next game’s map will look like, lack any hot takes regarding what it should include, and have given up on planning out your first playthrough, why not just try to appreciate the final stretch of GTA Online?

Some players have recently been doing so by trying to gather the fortune necessary to buy the game’s freshly unveiled 50-car garage and fill it up with expensive automobiles, with fresh analysis from some of Los Santos’ most efficient grinders suggesting that selling to street dealers might be more profitable than traditional sales missions.

How are you making the majority of your moolah in GTA Online right now?

Their financial findings form the subject of a recent thread on the GTA Online subreddit, which began with a post from user LogOfOne. They presented a spreadsheet demonstrating their in-depth analysis of the money-making potential of selling your drug supplies directly to dealers in comparison to doing so via nightclub and motorcycle club missions.

While the data may be a little difficult to interpret for those without business qualifications or an accountant on speed dial, LogOfOne neatly summarised them by declaring: “TLDR; premium street dealer value (is greater than) business profit, (which is greater than) nightclub profit, (which is greater than) street dealer value.”

So, if you’re looking to maximise your profit, you’ll seemingly need to visit each dealer in order to find out the drugs they're willing to pay a premium rate for, which LogOfOne politely explained to one user: “are marked with a star in the street dealer menu,” and make sure that’s exactly what you’re producing.

Though, user FistedWaffles123456 suggested that selling to the shady characters might be shrewd even if you lack their premium product of choice, saying: “Even though selling non preferred stuff to street dealers isn’t any better than through the business, it’s still a pretty quick and easy chunk of money that only takes a couple button presses (to earn) rather than (having to endure) the worst sale mission in the game.”

Meanwhile, user mrtzjam was seemingly floored by the depth of the numerical analysis in LogOfOne’s post, declaring: “Post this on (the subreddit) r/dataisbeautiful without any context.”
