While some GTA Online players are already looking forward to GTA 6, others are still trying to enjoy everything that Los Santos has to offer by getting into strange scenarios and spending all of their hard-earned cash.

After all, if you don’t enjoy trying to predict what the next game’s map will look like, lack any hot takes regarding what or who it should include, and have given up on planning out your first playthrough, why not just try to appreciate the final stretch of GTA Online?

It seems that some players are doing just that by challenging themselves to nail sick stunts that might grant them GTA immortality, with one player’s airborne passenger jet takedown possibly having accomplished just that.

Have you ever managed to pull off an aerial assault this risky in GTA Online?

This feat is the subject of a recent thread on the GTA Online subreddit, which began with a post from the player in question, user Death2ubl, who shared a clip of them jumping onto the plane in their Scramjet as it took off, taking it down with a sticky bomb and then somehow managing to fly back to shore instead of landing in the ocean.

Despite them modestly captioning the clip: “Getting Out of a Sticky Situation.”, most of their fellow criminals were pretty impressed by it, with user AbleKangaroo1 yelling: “James Bond in the house!” and VanettiNero instead dubbing Death2ubl the “Chuck Norris of GTA.”

Some users simply expressed their disbelief that the clip hadn’t ended with the need for a towel, with International_Ad5296 saying: “I was waiting for you to land it in a random pool.” and ConstantNectarine315 quipping: “Your scramjet's water magnet is faulty. I say get a replacement.”

On the other hand, a couple had one minor gripe with Death2ubl’s execution of the stunt, with user bowtiesarcool declaring: “0/10, didn’t look at the plane crashing,” leading Death2ubl to reply: “[the] plane was already in the water by the time I landed. I was a bit disappointed too.”

Meanwhile, user F1AKThePsycho pointed out that not getting to watch the aircraft sink to the murky depths might not actually be a violation of stunt etiquette, reminding everyone: “Cool guys don’t look at explosions though.”
