Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League continues to be lambasted by fans, though some gamers are warming up to the live-service shooter. DLC characters have already been confirmed but it looks like the base game may have already spoiled who one of them will be.

Fans already know that The Joker is coming to the game but a line from Brainiac has revealed that a pretty “cool” character is coming. Lionsward on Twitter was playing the game and came across a line from the villain that reads “I didn’t expect you to be the weak link in this chain, Freeze.”

Based on that line, it would be easy to assume that Mr. Freeze will be coming to Suicide Squad as DLC, especially since he’s one of the more popular Batman villains. While fans would love to “kick some ice” with the character, recent leaks have suggested that this will be a character called Victoria Fries, a female version of the villain thanks to multiverse shenanigans.

Due to the game’s live-service nature, DLC characters for the game are expected, with Rocksteady promising that each new character will come with more stories. Leakers have suggested that the story takes some interesting turns as more Seasons come out, especially with the multiverse characters.

Victoria Fries aside, leakers have suggested that Killer Croc and Deathstroke will be joining Suicide Squad later on. It will be interesting to see just how they play, especially since the first four characters already control pretty similarly. Hopefully, the strong writing continues to be a high point, as most fans seem to be enjoying the banter between these characters.

There is some hope that Kill the Justice League will be able to finish its narrative, as games like Marvel’s Avengers weren’t able to do that. Considering how this game launched with fewer players than Marvel’s Avengers, let’s hope Warner Bros. allows them to finish their story.
