Looking to recruit more Bangboo to accompany you on Proxy Commissions? This guide on how to get Zenless Zone Zero Boopons has everything you need to know to start an army of adorable androids. With enough of these little guys in your ranks, you’ll be able to take on any sort of Proxy Commission thrown your way.
The world in which Zenless Zone Zero takes place may seem pretty bleak but you’d never know it with all of the lively citizens and huggable sentient robots running around New Eridu. While you dive into reality-warping Hollows, Bangboo act as the fourth member of your team comps. If you aim to be a little more conservative with your Boopons, you may want to check out our ZZZ Bangboo tier list to see which one would fit best with your team.
How to Get Boopons in Zenless Zone Zero
You can get Boopons in Zenless Zone Zero from the following sources:
- Road to Proxy Greatness Event
- Bounty Commissions and License Level
- Outpost Shop
- Rally Commissions
- Battle Pass
- Signal Shop
- Leveling Bangboo
Having this many sources may make it seem like you’ll have plenty of Boopons to spend, but the rate at which you can obtain them will slow down as you progress through the game.
Road to Proxy Greatness Event
The Road to Proxy Greatness event will reward new ZZZ players for raising their Inter-Knot levels and reaching certain milestones. You can raise your Inter-Knot level by simply playing through the game since Proxy Commissions will always reward you with Inter-Knot Credits.
You’ll be able to obtain a total of 65 Boopons after reaching all of the milestones in the Road to Proxy Greatness Event. That’s enough to get you close to your first S-Rank Bangboo.
Bounty Commissions and License Level
You can get Bounty Commissions and raise your License Level by playing through Hollow Zero at the Scott Outpost. Hollow Zero is a form of ZZZ endgame that is unlocked after clearing Chapter 1 – Intermission.
Rewards from your License Level and Bounty Commissions can be obtained by interacting with the same console you use to enter Hollow Zero inside the Scott Outpost tent.
Outpost Shop
Just outside of the tent in Scott Outpost, you’ll find an NPC named Casper who sells Boopons for Z-Merits and Investigation Merits. These are currencies that you’ll be getting from Hollow Zero and Shiyu Defense.
Casper carries a limited number of items in his inventory but he does restock on supplies every month. Be sure to grab everything you need from him before his shop is updated.
Rally Commissions
Rally Commissions are a type of Proxy Commission found under the Combat Mission section of the HDD System. You’ll start to get requests for Rally Commissions after reaching Inter-Knot level 20.
Players will be able to get some nice rewards from clearing Rally Commissions including Boopons.
Battle Pass
The Zenless Zone Zero battle pass, also known as the New Eridu City Fund, has plenty of items for players to claim while progressing their account. You can get five Boopons on the Basic Plan, which is the free version of the battle pass that everyone will have access to.
If you pay for the Growth Plan to unlock the second track of rewards, you’ll get an additional five Boopons along with all the other rewards from the New Eridu City Fund.
Signal Shop
While pulling for Bangboo on their Signal Search banner, you’ll slowly start to earn another form of currency called Bangbucks. You can purchase Boopons with this currency in the Signal Shop. One Boopon from this shop will cost you 40 Bangbucks.
Leveling Bangboo
The best thing about getting Bangboo is that you can actually use them to get more Bangboo. Like how leveling your characters gives you Master Tape, you will get one Boopon for every other promotion on a Bangboo.
This is arguably the best way to get Boopon as you can easily promote a Bangboo once to get one free Boopon. Obviously, you'll be leveling your main Bangboo up even more anyhow, giving you more Boopons in return.
And that’s how to get Boopons in Zenless Zone Zero, which you can then spend on the Bangboo banner. While you’re here, you might also be interested in learning how to get 100 free pulls in Zenless Zone Zero or grabbing some ZZZ codes for even more freebies.
