GTA 6 fans want it to feature more enterable buildings and fewer indestructible trees

While some GTA players are still trying to enjoy everything that Los Santos has to offer by getting up to wacky hijinks and spending all of their hard-earned cash, others are already looking forward to GTA 6.

For some, this has involved trying to predict what the next game’s map will look like, arguing that it shouldn’t have an online mode, or simply agonising over how they’ll earn back their current GTA Online fortune if it includes tax mechanics.

Meanwhile, others have laid out their case for the return of some features from previous GTA games, but it appears that there are a few things that players want to evolve in a fresh way for the new game.

Do you long to be unimpeded by Vice City’s shrubbery?

These aspirations are the topic of a recent thread on the GTA 6 subreddit, which began with a post from user Jay_TheKing417, who simply asked: “What are some things you don’t wanna see in GTA 6?”

A lot of the responses seemed to revolve around features that were once accepted as norms in previous entries in the series, but are now seen as a little bit archaic, with user Productive1990 providing the example of buildings with interiors that can only be interacted with in specific scenarios, leading HMCetc to declare: “If a building is enterable for a mission, it should be enterable afterwards.”

User TheKaney’s concerns were more foliage-focused, with them suggesting that trees and bushes should no longer stop cars dead regardless of how much mass they actually have.

User scruffysonic came at the game’s streets from a similar angle, suggesting that the days of certain car models spawning in and suddenly making up the majority of traffic should be over. On the other hand, user georgikarus specified that there’s a specific type of car they’d like to see pop up less frequently, suggesting GTA’s police to be a bit too omnipotent, pursuing people for crimes that were committed far from the prying eyes of any witnesses.

Meanwhile, a whole host of users singled out some long-despised additions to GTA Online, with the likes of the Oppressor Mark 2 being described in very unflattering terms and willed towards the scrapheap.
