While some GTA Online players are already looking forward to GTA 6, others are still trying to enjoy everything that Los Santos has to offer by nailing sick stunts, spending all of their hard-earned cash or driving around listening to Christmas music.

After all, if you don’t enjoy trying to predict what the next game’s map will look like, lack any hot takes regarding what or who it should include, and have given up on planning out your first playthrough, why not just try to appreciate the final stretch of GTA Online?

However, some players are seemingly trying to clean up their acts in order to impress secret crushes during their final stint in Los Santos, with one having taken it upon themselves to remind everyone to grab their sponge as often as they grab their gun.

How often do you wash off the dirt accrued during a life of crime?

This lecture is the subject of a recent thread on the GTA Online subreddit, which began with a post from user Jay_1713, who kicked things off by sharing a snap (thankfully from the waist-up) of their character mid-wash and asking: “Be honest, when last did your character have a shower?”

Mercifully, some of their fellow players revealed that it hadn’t been too long since their characters’ last scrubs, with user unicorngamerboy saying: “Mine always spawns in the shower for some reason.” and TubaraoFeio answering: “Every time I get injured in a session I take one. It cleans up the bruises.”

Others seemed to prefer taking a dip in the ocean, but conceded that these excursions aren’t always planned, with user DefaultNameHey declaring: “Every time I miss the hatch on the Kosatka and fly the Sparrow straight into the ocean, so once every session.”

Sadly, a few don’t even seem to do this, with user Noah_748 revealing: “I haven't showered since the game came out.” and TheWise_Butter recalling: “The last time my character took a shower was when I reached level 100 about five years ago.”

Meanwhile, user Kubuskush shared that their showers are a key part of their daily GTA routine, saying: “I always take my guy around the map. Stop at (a) strip club. Meet a lady of the night after, then head home for a quick look in the mirror to see what I have become, take a shower to cleanse my soul and then do it again.”
