The release of Monster Hunter Wilds is drawing ever closer. To celebrate, Niantic has officially launched a crossover event between Monster Hunter Now and Monster Hunter Wilds, offering players a chance to earn exclusive rewards and take on new challenges in CAPCOM and Niantic’s Pokémon GO-style Monster Hunter title.

The event will run from Friday, February 28, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. until Monday, March 31, 2025, at 11:59 p.m., perfectly aligning with the highly anticipated launch of Monster Hunter Wilds.

As part of the collaboration, limited-time quests will grant players special items. This includes the Monster Hunter Wilds Seikret Rider Outfit, designed to make characters feel as though they’re truly riding the game’s adorable mounts.

Additionally, Monster Hunter Wilds’ Chatacabra will make its first appearance in Monster Hunter Now. This hulking frog-like creature can be encountered exclusively in desert habitats for the duration of the event.

For those seeking even greater rewards, completing the MH Wilds Collab Event Quests will grant a Wyvern Gem Shard, adding more incentive to participate in the crossover.

To mark the occasion, Niantic has also announced a special login event starting February 28. Players who log in during this period will receive Supply Items, Hope Weapon Forging Tickets, an exclusive Hope layered outfit, and a significant Item Box expansion.

2025 is shaping up to be an exciting year for Monster Hunter. With Wilds launching in a few weeks and Monster Hunter Outlanders potentially arriving later this year, there’s plenty for fans to look forward to. Those eager to get a taste of Monster Hunter Wilds can also participate in the game’s upcoming second open beta this week.

Monster Hunter Now is available for free on the App Store and Google Play, with optional in-app purchases. For more Capcom news, read about the company's high hopes for Wilds and Resident Evil 0 getting a potential remake.
