After announcing that they will share more information about the Nintendo Switch 2 during CES 2025, gaming accessories manufacturer Genki has confirmed that the most-awaited console from Nintendo will arrive in April this year.

In an X post by @Wario64, they shared images of the mock-up of the Nintendo Switch 2, complete with detachable magnetic Joy-Cons which are now equipped with mouse sensors. Genki confirmed that it'll launch in April this year, so an official Nintendo announcement might just be around the corner.

A video post by @Numerama on X also showcased how the magnetic Joy-Cons are bigger and easily attached and detached. It is way more convenient than the rail slides of the original Switch, and while it allows for faster removal and attachment, the Joy-Cons are confirmed to be capable of becoming a mouse should the player need it.

It would mean that shooter games and other games that have an advantage when using a mouse will be more competitive in the Switch 2.

In a video on the Genki booth at the CES 2025, the Joy-Cons are also showcased and it seemingly confirms that the new controllers will have the mysterious "C" button. While there are many speculations about the function of this new button, Genki can't confirm the exact purpose of the button.

With all the leaks and rumors slowly turning out true about the Nintendo Switch 2 this CES 2025, it will reach a point where Nintendo will have nothing to announce anymore except for the software and launch titles.

Fans can now expect anything official from Nintendo sooner or later since major details about the Switch 2 are currently being shared during CES 2025.
