How to obtain Honey in Palworld
The first way is more bloody and will not bring you much Honey, while the second one will be ideal for those who want to automate the process of producing this consumable.
Catch or kill certain pals
The first and more complicated method is to find Pals that drop Honey after you kill or catch them. In general, there are not many such Pals in the game:
- Beegarde
- Cinnamoth
- Elizabee
- Warsect
Among them all, we recommend focusing on finding Beegarde. All of the Pals listed above are high-level, so it will be challenging for beginners to defeat them, unlike Beegarde. Although these Pals are also high-level, you don't even need to fight them to kill them but rather run away. This is all because of the feature of a Beegarde, which makes them turn into a bomb.
If you approach them and are aggressive, these Pals will start ticking and chasing you. When the timer runs out, they will explode and accordingly die. On the other hand, it is better not to kill but to catch Beegarde because it will not only expand your Pals collection but also be necessary for the second method of farming honey.
Build a ranch
If you managed to catch at least one Beegarde before it exploded, you are really lucky. In this case, you won't need to go in search of honey again and again because now you can make it yourself. If you look at the Work Suitability of this Pal, you will see Farming among other options. That's right, Beegarde can produce honey on its own if it is in the appropriate conditions.
Essentially, all you need to do is build a Ranch. Fortunately, this structure is unlocked at level five, so you won't have to wait long. It doesn't require any expensive resources to build, so even an absolute beginner can easily build it:
- Wood x20
- Stone x20
- Fiber x30
Once you have the Ranch ready, interact with your Paldeck and assign Beegrade to work at your base. Now, the Pal should go to the Ranch and start producing honey from time to time. If it doesn't go to the Ranch but is engaged in another activity, then just pick it up and throw it into the construction area.
