November 28, 2022: Eevee's special Tera-raids have now ended, but you can still find them easily in the wild.

Need tips on how to get Eevee in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? Every good Pokemon trainer needs a variety of Eevees and its evolutions in their boxes. Given there are so many out there, it's crucial to know how to add them all to your Pokedex.

The iconic Normal-Type was introduced in Generation 1, and has been a mainstay of the franchise since, even becoming the mascot. Eevee has eight evolutions, all of which are different Types, and have different requirements for evolution. You can, if you're lucky, find some in the wild!

How to get Eevee in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Eevee in Generation 9 is a rare catch. And we mean rare. There are three locations on the map where Eevee spawns, and even then, it'll take a few minutes to find one. The Pokedex itself notes that Eevee is hard to come by.

The easiest place to find one is around the Medali Pokemon Center, in the open grassland. This area is notorious for finding Ditto, too, which can help with breeding other Eevee for evolution.

Eevee will also spawn around the Pokemon League Building above Mesagoza, though it will likely be a while until you get there.

You can also try the field area to the left of Cortondo, as Eevee regularly pops up here. Going in and out of the town boundary can reset the area, making different Pokemon appear in the wild.

Can I catch wild Eevee evolutions in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

Eevee evolutions can be found rarely in the wild, just like the first stage 'Mon. Glaceon can be found on the icy Glaceado Mountain, while most others will appear in either South Province (Area Six), West Province (Area Three), or North Province (Areas One-Three).

The only one we've found so far is an Espeon north of the crater, around Dalizapa Passage in West Province (Area Three).

It means that Flareon, Glaceon, Jolteon, Leafeon, Sylveon, Umbrean, and Vaporeon are still lurking out there in Paldea somewhere. As soon as we find any more, we'll update this guide!
