While The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom may now have taken over its status as the big game everyone’s talking about, if you’re not a Nintendo stan or simply prefer lightsabers to swords, you might still be enjoying playing through Star Wars Jedi Survivor.

Assuming you were lucky enough to have avoided having your playing sessions disrupted too badly by the array of performance-related issues that plagued the launch version of the game, odds are you’ll have quickly become engrossed in the nuanced adventures of Cal Kestis.

Regardless of how invested you are in the poncho-loving Jedi’s romance with Merrin or what you’d want to see from a potential next chapter in his story, if you’ve made it a decent way into the game, you’ve likely encountered the notoriously difficult Spawn of Oggdo boss fight, which one player has just beaten in dominant fashion.

Do you think you could kill one of Star Wars Jedi Survivor’s angry amphibians this rapidly?

The Jedi Master in question, user markokasper96, has posted their frog-based feat to the subreddit r/fallenorder, sharing a video of them killing Spawn of Oggdo following a minute-long battle on Grandmaster difficulty, slicing it to pieces with dual-wielded lightsabers.

Many of their fellow players responded to the post simply to congratulate them on the victory, including user Hbimajorv, who referenced Elden Ring’s Let Me Solo Her by quipping: “But you aren't naked with a pot on your head.”

On the other hand, user Alortania managed to work out how one of markokasper96’s previous attempts must have ended by observing that they’d chosen to strike the killing blow by throwing their weapon from a safe distance, rather than going in for a dramatic finisher, leading the Oggdo slayer to reveal that they had previously been foiled midway through dishing out a killing animation to the creature.

Meanwhile, in response to a comment asking how they’d managed to dodge so quickly during the fight, markokasper96 replied that one of the pros of the dual blade stance is that: “Blocking stops the animation, which makes you free to start another action, like (a) dodge, jump or another attack.”

Regardless of whether you’re now jumping back into the game to see if you can emulate this rapid execution using your own mullet-rocking force-user, make sure to check out the massive array of helpful guides we’ve created about everything from perks to dungeons and bosses, which can aid your quest to become a Jedi Master.
