Most of the hardcore Bethesda RPG fans who’ve invested thousands of hours into Skyrim and Fallout 4 couldn’t wait for the chance to start digging into Starfield.

No matter whether you paid for early access to the game, or have joined the party more recently, odds are if you’ve invested in it, you’ve likely already gotten up to some to wacky interstellar hijinks and possibly even stumbled across some references to previous titles from its creators.

Two aspects of the game players have been dedicating a lot of time and attention to are its spaceship building mechanics and already-thriving modding scene, both of which have now found a way to bring an iconic children’s television character to the Settled Systems.

Are you glad that Starfield has already been graced with the wonderful presence of Thomas the Tank Engine?

If you’ve watched a YouTube video about Skyrim at any point in the last decade or so, there’s a good chance you’re at least a little bit familiar with ‘Really Useful Dragons,’ which swaps out the game’s dragons for a variety of Thomas the Tank Engine characters.

Well, following the game’s milestone-smashing full release, the blue train has made its way to Starfield, in two different, but equally hilarious forms. First up is an impressive spaceship built by Reddit user MrCaine332 that bears a pretty uncanny resemblance to Sir Topham Hat’s prized engine, as you can see below.

While all of the screenshots the player, who’s also recently modelled a ship after one of Star Wars’ AT-AT walkers, are very funny, the fourth might just take the the cake, with user TheRealBluedini pointing out: “[It] feels like it was taken by a concerned citizen out of their apartment window.”

Meanwhile, modder BulwarkHD has given people the chance to get their Thomas fix without having to fly around in a giant steam locomotive, by creating ‘Thomas the Tank Engine Vasco Retexture.’

As you might have guessed, this mod swaps out the skin of the robotic Constellation member for one that matches Thomas’ paint scheme and even features the train’s beaming visage in a prominent position on VASCO’s torso.

So yes, all you need to do now is somehow persuade Ringo Starr to narrate your playthrough.
