The LinkedIn post mainly talks about the opportunities and open roles in Rockstar but GTA fans all over the Internet are laser-focused on the part where Jankowski mentioned 2025. What made the fans lean into the 2025 release date more is that the image Jankowski shared featuring the GTA 6 poster with the text "coming 2025".

Fans from Reddit think that since GTA 6 has already been delayed twice, a Fall 2025 release date is pretty likely to happen. While an early 2026 release window still fits into the 2025 financial year, many fans feel that GTA 6 will benefit more with a 2025 release date.
While the expectations and hopes of the majority of the community members are back again, many are still skeptical about the release date, saying that it would make more sense if Jankowski is talking about how 2025 is going to be good in terms of employment opportunities for those who aspire to be Rockstar employees considering that he is working in recruitment.
